Chickens in School Programs

Increasingly, public and private schools are including gardening, composting and chickens in with school activities and programs.

Over the next year

, we expect the experience and lessons learned from schools across the country will become more available to develope into lesson plans and cirriculums.

This page is being developed and will contain course materials for use in K1 through K12. This will be an open source network of teaching materials that have been successfully used.

Please contact us if you are interested in hatching eggs, or emplolying chickens in your classroom and we will work with you to develop a lesson plan. If you have course materials and would like to share them, this is the place.
